Random Order "To Do List"

Enjoy your long weekend folks! Also try to get these things done as well, in random order:

  • Here is your first logs assignment, as promised. ;-)
  • For the few that were mentioned in class, start your quiz before 11:30 tonight.
  • Share your WikiThoughts
  • I'd love to get more Quizzing Feedback
  • Don't forget to watch NUMB3RS tonight.
  • Commit random acts of kindness. ;-)

I'd love to participate in the wiki.. but my web browser is completely ignoring the applet games and I'm missing a whole lot of opportunities to study our lessons interactively. Is there something that I can do? :- About the online quiz... I love the idea and personally, I think that quizzes at home will be far more easier that quizzes held in class BUT I am wrong. There's pessure about the time limit, and I can't hardly concentrate here at home because there's diversions in here such as watching tv and playing ps2. I think online quizzes are all about dscipline and staying right on track.

The wiki i think is a great idea, but might have been introduced to late to this course. Well at least for marks. I believ that the wiki should be worth only bonus marks on our tests atleast for this year. As it may be a great task for some to create a mini text book on how to do stuff in pre-cal. We are trying to learn this stuff let alone try to explain and teach it.Its wortha shot but if not enough participation happens then it become a lost cause for our class. So as for trying to put marks too ita good way would be to award up to say 3 bonus test marks for say 2 good contributions of information or explinations and maybe 1 more mark for a good edit of someone elses contribution.Editing is hard to mark as there may not be anything worth editing or what could be considered a markable edit. This is a great concept and because we are quiny pigs for all of this internet learning leanyincy must be taking with everything.

As for the online quizes its a great thing for everybody. It forces us to do some sort of homework and we will know about it so we are givin more of a reason to prepare for it. The time fram givin for the last quz was perfect cause we are doing this on our own time we may need to work around work or family things or whatever. It benifits eveyone in someway or another so we should keep doing them.
